The insurance Program our clients enjoy was built on ease-of-use, accommodating all occupancy phases of investment property (vacant, rental or undergoing renovation).
We are looking for a technical lead to partner with the CIO to develop and drive system and technology plans that meet company needs, with a focus on standard process design across technologies.
Essential Functions
- Execute the vision, strategy, roadmap and implementation of performance indicators and supporting metrics and trends for system solutions and corresponding applications.
- Own and lead overall development activities, including system integration solutions and data warehousing / reporting.
- Continually assess the impact of emerging enterprise technologies against strategic business needs and interpret business value for the leadership team in a consultative capacity.
- Manage 3rd-party service provider contract in support of company technologies.
- Ensure the consistency and maintainability of new and existing company applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing technical and quality standards, guidance, and reference architectures.
- Support proposal generation, when requested.
- Plan, schedule, execute, and manage projects as assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems management, computer science, engineering, or related field required; a combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- 10-15 years minimum progressive experience supporting an enterprise IT environment required.
- Strong software knowledge and foundation, including SQL DB, Java development, Agile SDLC, HTTPS knowledge and DevOps or Jira experience.
- Prior systems transformation experience strongly desired.
- Strong project management experience required, PMP certification a plus.
- P&C insurance background required, commercial lines experience a plus.
- Experience managing 3rd-party service providers.
- Ability to present and work closely with business leaders on roadmap and strategy.
