Job Summary: | This position will develop a grant writing team to serve OSU Research Foundation and the OSU Institutes. The position reviews external funding solicitations applicable to transdisciplinary initiatives. Identifies applicable faculty expertise community involvement and external partners. Develops and manages detailed project plans timelines deliverables and measures and manages the each grant or contract through development and submission. Convenes and coordinates the necessary communication channels between OSURF staff and institute employees. Travel to campus and/or non-campus locations for University business. Produce work |

Position Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 7 years progressively responsible and related experience. Experience working in higher education. High degree of technical aptitude and excellent computer skills. Strong proficiency with a variety of computer applications including Word, Excel, Acrobat, and the ability and willingness to learn new systems quickly. Impeccable attention to detail, particularly in complex project coordination scenarios. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations and careful editing.Manage interpersonal relationships, develop positive working relationships, and communicate with clarity and tact. Handle sensitive and confidential situations and information with absolute discretion. Excellent time management skills, including ability to adaptively multitask, prioritize, and work on schedule and within deadlines. Develop project plans, timelines, deliverables, and measures across projects and by gathering inputs from across the organization. Develop and maintain a robust network of partnerships from constituencies within OSU and through the local, state and national sectors of industry. Work as a collaborative, conscientious, and dependable member of the OSURF staff. Effectively manage a team, providing appropriate coaching and goal setting. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree Familiarity with Oklahoma State University system and administrative structure. Public Policy and Federal Grant experience a plus. |
