Sylvan Learning Center Whitestone is looking for State Test Prep / Writing teachers on Saturday.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience teaching students in either ELA or Math or both- Must have experience teaching grade school students and/or middle school students
- Must be comfortable using basic technology to teach students
- Must be comfortable and have experience working with students at different academic levels in a group setting
- Must be able to teach in an engaging and meaningful manner
- Must know and be able to teach common core curriculum
- Must be punctual and reliable. This is a MUST!
- Must be able to commit to at least 12 weeks (State Test Prep) and one semester for Writing teacher.
- Ideally certified or be working towards a degree towards Elementary and/or Middle School Education
Training will be provided
Hour rate commensurate with experience
We will follow all NYC and CDC protocols that our partner schools follow.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
