Due to rapid growth and expansion into new markets, Essentials in Writing is seeking a qualified Customer Service Representative to assist our outstanding Customer Service Department during our busy season (June-October).
You will be working with our Customer Service Team to develop relationships within the homeschool/education community and maintain and assist our repeat customers. Ideally, we would like someone who is a people person with an outgoing personality, ready to serve our customers.
This position is in-office, seasonal employment from now until September 29th, 2023, with the possibility of coming on permanently. The hours will be Monday through Friday from 8-5 p.m. (40 hours a week).

Job Responsibilities

Communicating with and assisting customers with various needs, requests, and questions.

Responding to customer problems or complaints while maintaining the company culture, vision, and mission.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Able to commute to Springfield, Missouri

Basic computer skills (LiveAgent experience is a plus)

Customer service experience (preferred but not required)
