The Academic Program Manager provides academic supervision for Medical Assistant programs and all relevant courses. The main tasks will be concentrated in five main areas: Teaching, Student Retention, Curriculum, Accreditation and Learning Assessment Processes. This includes teaching and demonstrations in the classroom, laboratory setting, blended or online according to program objectives and course syllabi and assessing student skills and supervising students in externship and/or capstone course. The Academic Program Manager develops daily lesson plans as teaching guidelines based upon the approved curriculum and ensures all learning goals for the courses are met. Program Managers are Full-Time, exempt and directly accountable to the Dean or Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
