Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Nuclear Startup Manager opportunity for our customer in Johnson City, TN.
Per Diem available for those who qualify. Active DOE Q Level Security Clearance strongly preferred.
Work location is 100% onsite in Johnson City, TN
Job Description / Duties:
Individual will be responsible for overseeing the testing, commissioning and reediness reviews for all major modification at a nuclear facility processing enriched Uranium. Major Modification will run in value from $500 M to $25 million. Project will include major facility modifications, new buildings and new chemical process additions. Individual will be responsible to create startup and commissioning program documents and to oversee a team of individuals to perform startup test and commissioning activities.
Qualifications:
Successful candidate will have extensive experience with startup testing and commissioning nuclear facilities on DOE or NRC licensed sites. Individual will have an Engineering or technical degree with at least 20 years’ experience in nuclear operations, construction and startup of new facilities. Active DOE security clearance desired.
