ELA Writing Teacher, Grade 7/8 2022/2023 School Year

  • This position is full-time, including benefits and is available for the 2022/2023 school year. There is flexibility on the grade level in teaching grade 7 or 8, which can be discussed during the interview process.

    Additional requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in the area of certification preferred.
    • Knowledge of PBIS and experience implementing in the classroom preferred.
    • Valid Teaching License recognized by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or evidence of eligibility to obtain such licensure within one year of employment.
    • Experience using technology in the classroom preferred.
    • At least one year of teaching experience preferred.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
    • Ability to relate well to others.

     

    REPORTS TO: Principal

     

    SUPERVISION: Oversees work of paraprofessionals in the classroom. As directed by the Principal, may contribute to paraprofessional annual evaluation.
