Purpose:

We are looking for a technical project manager who is driven for success and will help us grow our business through successful leadership in executing projects with technical scope. The successful candidate will be comfortable discussing technical content with clients and driving successful outcomes with technical subject matter experts.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of project scope to a defined budget and schedule manages and documenting change orders seeking customer approval before changes. 
• Assures that the customer is satisfied with the contracted deliverables. 
• Is accountable for office and site safety for the project team.
• Recommends and selects the project team. 
• Manages mobilization to plan. 
• Assures all team members have the appropriate tools and equipment.
• Mentors Project Engineers. 
• Identifies and provides any specialized knowledge and training for the project team.
• Evaluate team member performance.

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience: 

• 8 Years managing projects and/or experience deploying complex Digital solutions in an industrial environment.
• Proven performance leading technical work as a Project Manager.
• Demonstrated capabilities to build relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience in various commercial contracting models/risk profiles (Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc.)
• Proven experience in Waterfall and Agile project management
• Solid understanding of EPC project delivery and the stage gate process.
• Understanding the basic concepts of a digital twin.
• Experience with data-centric project delivery specifically in the Hexagon tools is an asset.
• Competent in MS Project, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Has an excellent overall understanding of the impact of Industry 4.0 technology
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects and working with clients for pull-through work.
• Motivational leadership style and strong communication skills with the ability to develop a high-performance culture.
• Ability to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks effectively through positive decision-making.
• Ability to manage project change effectively with project team and clients.
• Capable of working with a diverse global project team working in an office and remotely.
• Must be located or willing to commute regularly to the Lake Charles Louisiana area.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

• A degree in either engineering, automation, mining, digital technology, or data science.

Preferred:

• Experience working in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, LNG, Renewables, and Mining is an asset.
