Description
Product Analyst is the lead driver of product optimization of the Aries Gaming Network (AGN). This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting AGN operational metrics and is the catalyst for action when improvements are required.
Job Purpose
Interact with Senior leaders in Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Research and Development, Game Development, and Executive Management to develop world class analytic support, deliver insights that drive profit, and be a reliable business partner touching all areas of AGN operations, marketing and merchandising to assist product optimization.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & OTHER DUTIES
• Collect data from other Aries business units to conduct rigorous data analytics of the AGN product performance daily, including:
o Financial performance
o Software and hardware service field performance
o Software and hardware malfunctions
• Develop presentation materials and assume the role of communicating analysis findings clearly and concisely to Aries business units and Executive management
• Provide a daily summary report and a monthly comprehensive review of the AGN performance analytics to Aries business units and Executive Management that provides actionable insights and recommendations that:
o Improve profitability
o Identify product optimization configurations, including:
? Title deployment
? Denomination, RTP configurations, and pricing
? Placement location
o Maximize operational processes
o Refinement of product hardware and software design
o Proactive hardware and software field service
o Guide management decisions and strategies
• Utilize knowledge of product performance and operations to provide input on product hardware and software development
• Work with cross-functional team members in preparation of new product launches
POSTION REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, ABILITIES
Computer Equipment and Software:
o Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and with relational database software applications (such as SQL, Oracle, Cognos, Access, Orbits, etc.)
o Exposure/experience to/with Tableau preferred
o Proficiencies with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
Certification:
o Must be able to obtain and maintain gaming licenses
o Must have and be able to maintain driver’s license
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree
Experience & Other Requirements:
o Can articulate the fundamental drivers of business performance
o Intermediate skills in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets
o Ability to effectively interact and communicate with key stakeholders, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strenuous deadlines while consistently delivering accurate high-quality work
o Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity
o Minimum 3 to 5 year of experience in the gaming industry in an analytical role
