Technology Research Manager leads research and evaluation of emerging trends in the information technology field to determine their worth to the organization. Designs and oversees staff education on the use of new technology. Being a Technology Research Manager recommends ways to apply new products and solutions that will maximize their value to the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Technology Research Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Technology Research Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.       • Must be skilled at teaching in a team atmosphere, including work on collaborative teacher teams.
      • Must be adept at building relationships and maintaining high academic and behavioral standards for all students.
      • Possess strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students to ensure each child reaches her/his full potential.
      • Participate fully as a productive CTT member.
      • Implement building and district level initiatives.
      • Demonstrate effective communication with students, parents, staff and community members.
      • Able to implement a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of a diverse learning community.
      • Ability to establish a positive learning environment.
      • Participates in IEP development, work meetings, and parent conferences.
      • Encourage parental involvement and communicate regularly with parents.
      • Must implement building wide PBIS practices in support of building and district goals.
      • Establishes and maintains high standard of pupil behavior to achieve a learning atmosphere in the classroom.
      • Willingness and ability to utilize MTSS system to support student learning and achievement.
      • Must be willing to support and implement Davenport’s multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) for both behavior and academics.
      • Successful candidate must possess strong inter-personal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students to ensure each child reaches his/her full potential.
      • Good attendance and punctuality are a must to ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the job are performed successfully.
      • Able to work as a team member.
