Role: Oracle Service Delivery Manager

Location: Newark, NJ

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to improve the quality and efficiency of our service delivery operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading and improving service delivery teams and possess excellent problem solving and stakeholder management skills.

Technical Qualifications:

• Experience with the following EBS Modules: GL, AP, Sourcing, iExpense (including mobile app), IR, Purchasing, iSupplier Portal, Fixed Assets, and AR.
• Well Versed in these Technologies: PL/SQL, Java, Shell Scripts, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), XML Publisher, Oracle Business Intelligence, Web Based, and Oracle Workflow.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure all services are delivered according to specific standards and expectations.
• Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures and checklists for service delivery.
• Recommending service improvements.
• Monitoring, evaluating, and addressing performance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Understand the business needs, priorities, and opportunities.
• Improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Identify customer service improvements and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain a positive customer impression and relationship.
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring customer service issues.
• Provide technical advice and guidance for on-site and off-site employees.
• The successful candidate should be able to participate all Status call and present status from Cognizant side and Single POC for all client communications.
• Lead offshore team with providing high level solutions.
• Take end to end responsibility for development and Migration.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols.
• Leading project teams.
• Monitoring progress.
• Tracking KPIs.
• Managing budgets.
• Rectifying reliability issues.
• Overseeing projects.
• Resolving problems.
• Tracking service metrics.
• Maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinating service delivery.
• Understanding business needs, priorities, and opportunities.
• Improving service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Performing technical tasks, such as troubleshooting technical issues.
• Performing administrative tasks, such as managing team performance and checking the quality of inventory.
• Service delivery managers may also work with individuals on offshore and onsite locations. They act as a point of contact for client issues, escalations, and complaints.
• Create Change Control requests containing well written instructions for code migration.
• Troubleshoot and performance tune slow running software components.
• Monitor health of EBS components: Database, OAcore, Workflow engines, Concurrent managers, and mailers.
• Perform Procurement, iProcurement, Sourcing, iSupplier, and Supplier Lifecycle Management application testing as required.
• Onboard and support vendors and associated transitions in the Oracle Business Network (OBN) .
• Administer and monitor Workflow processes; resolve issues.
• Support Business PO/AP Reconciliation Processes as necessary.
• Address Job Stream warnings/failures, when necessary.
• Monitor and support a key subset of PO interfaces & loads.
• Support Audit Requests as Necessary.
• Participate in BC testing.
• Document and maintain SOPs.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $142,000/Year to $168,00/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
