Associate Manager, Information Technology Responsibilities
Provide effective management and leadership to team members. Develop and build effective teams to achieve high-quality production support for end-users.
Collaborate closely with managers and directors in the information technology division, with particular emphasis on seamless outage process and communication, root cause analysis, and overall application health.
Establish effective working relationships with business partners.
Communicate, clearly and concisely, the job expectations and service standards for departmental and individual performances. Set expectations, measure application performance, and ensure quality of work is met. Assist in assigning responsibilities as needs arise.
Assist each team member to create and successfully execute a training and education plan and career goals, utilizing an employee self-appraisal and feedback. Write performance appraisal to detail progress.
Associate Manager, Information Technology Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
One to three years of management experience, or a minimum five years of team leadership experience required.
Designations in AINS and/or FLMI required or are actively being pursued.
Preferred
Prior experience at an insurance company preferred.
