    The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's information technology projects and ensuring that all IT operations align with our organizational goals. This role involves leading a diverse team of IT professionals, managing daily operational needs, and planning and implementing strategic IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations or management, with a preference for experience within the Department of Energy sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the IT staff, ensuring high levels of performance in managing daily operational tasks as well as long-term projects.
    • Plan, implement, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
    • Stay updated with and manage technology updates across the organization, including systems related to Microsoft, VMware, Storage, NIST, FISMA, and Cisco technologies.
    • Conduct regular management briefings on IT operations, project progress, and technology updates.
    • Oversee the organization's cybersecurity activities to ensure the protection of IT assets and data.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align the IT department's goals with the overall objectives of the company.
    • Leverage Department of Energy experience to guide strategic decisions and operations within the IT department.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology Operations or Management, or 15 years of experience in Information Technology, in lieu of a degree.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and lead staff across all IT functions.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft, VMware, Storage, NIST, FISMA, and Cisco technologies.
    • Proven experience in managing and overseeing IT projects, operations, and cybersecurity activities.
    • Preference for candidates with Department of Energy experience, demonstrating an understanding of the unique requirements and challenges in this sector.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Certification (any)

    Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification (any)

    PMP Certification
