    We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technology Product Manager with a strong background in delivering technology solutions in financial services, particularly within the realm of Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). The ideal candidate will possess expertise in advisory fee billing and a deep understanding of data flow and integrations.


    As a Senior Technology Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the definition, documentation, planning, and implementation of key operational products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects throughout their lifecycle.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



    1. Current State Documentation: Map existing business/system processes and recommend improvements.

    2. Information Gathering and Analysis: Collect and analyze information, interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and observe operations to solve specific problems faced in the current state.

    3. Define Project Scope and Objectives: Collaborate with teams to define project scope, including phasing, based on a deep understanding of operations, systems, and industry requirements.

    4. Create Comprehensive Business Requirements: Detail functional and non-functional capabilities, including business processes, rules, data, security, and performance requirements.

    5. Project Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across business units for seamless execution.

    6. Liaison Between Client and Technical Units: Act as a bridge between client business units and technical teams, analyzing needs and representing users in technology solution development.

    7. Problem Solving with Complex Systems: Represent stakeholders on project teams and solve intricate problems within large, cross-functional systems.

    8. Evaluate Solutions' Organizational Benefits: Assess the potential benefits of new solutions for the organization.

    9. Manage the Investment: Ensure a positive return on investment for the business, including project economics.

    10. Strategy and Roadmap: Drive a unified vision for application strategy and development roadmap aligned with business objectives.


    Requirements:


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



    • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of SDLC, development methodologies, product management, requirements writing, issue tracking, and change management.

    • Business Knowledge: Experience with middle-back office operating systems, file mapping, and reconciliation between independent platforms in Financial Services.

    • Expert Analytical Skills: Ability to facilitate thorough information-gathering sessions and resolve complex challenges independently.

    • Process Improvement Expertise: Proven experience mapping complex business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

    • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Strong collaboration skills within cross-functional teams and effective relationship establishment.

    • Effective Decision-making: Skillful approach in selecting actions consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.

    • Clear Communication: Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying information engagingly to diverse audiences.

    • Educational Background and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with 7 years of experience in Financial Services. Lean Six Sigma or related certification is a plus.


    Proven Experience:



    • Proven Development Track Record: Demonstrated experience in large-scale technology development, project management, and implementation.

    • Proven Financial Service Technology: Track record within the financial services technology industry, preferably with business-critical applications within portfolio management, billing, and custody. Experience specific to RIAs is highly desirable.
