OVERVIEW
American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is an industry-leading battery metal and critical materials technology development and commercialization company. Our Pilot Plant will be the first integrated implementation of our multi-step processing train for the full mechanical processing, physical separations, chemical extractions, and production of commercial-scale battery metals that will be resold back into the battery manufacturing supply chain to enact a low-cost, low environmental impact, and domestically sourced closed-loop circular economy.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Human Resource Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to support our company’s goals and objectives. This position will report directly to the HR Director and participate in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, benefits administration, and compliance with labor and law and regulations. The ideal candidate will have Human Resource experience in a manufacturing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process payroll & perform related duties regarding team members' time & attendance/ record keeping in the payroll system – ADP
· Administer and assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
· Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment and retention strategies to attract top talent and manage the full recruitment life cycle.
· Oversee benefits administration to ensure accuracy and timeliness in benefits delivery.
· Create consistent HR forms and processes for seamless documentation.
· Manage all benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations for health insurance and 401(k).
· Maintain all employees’ files both electronic and paper.
- Schedule enrollment meetings for team members for health care, 401k, supplemental insurance, and input enrollment changes, this includes all Open Enrollment meetings.
- Maintain new hire packet information up to date and make up new hire packets for orientation as needed.
QUALIFICATION
Minimum Required Qualifications:
· At least 5 years of HR experience
· Bachelor’s degree, Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related fields.
· Strong understanding of Labor Laws and employment standards
· Mastery of all Microsoft products
· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
Desired Qualifications:
· Experience in manufacturing companies.
· Experience in ADP HRIS (Workforce Now) and Payroll
