Primary Purpose:
To provide telecommunications services for District police department. To answer telephone calls, monitor radios, monitor security cameras and dispatch police officers or other school personnel as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED;
TCOLE Telecommunications Operator License;
Basic TCOLE Telecommunications Certification.

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Accuracy in the use of computers;
Data entry;
Law Enforcement/Safety experience required;
Ability to maintain accurate records, reports and files;
Law enforcement telecommunications operator experience required;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of CJIS security policy;
Requires successful completion of all required certifications within 1 year from date of hire.

Experience:
Three years Law Enforcement Telecommunications Operator experience, preferred.

Salary: Admin.Support PG4/225 days
