ABOUT US:

Royal Health Group is a family-owned business dedicated to providing the highest standards of personal care for our residents in our skilled nursing facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and providers

Direct the nursing assistants to ensure quality care is always provided

Perform routine charting duties and documentation procedures

Meet with staff in planning shifts services and programs

Administer medications as ordered by the physician

Complete assessments, care plans, treatments, etc.

Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold a current nursing license for the state of Rhode Island

Ability to assess and diagnose health care needs of residents

Prior long-term care experience is preferred, not required

Ability to communicate plans to all care providers

Knowledge and the ability to assess the effects of medications and treatments and monitor these effects to provide appropriate feedback to the interdisciplinary team and medical managers

Knowledge of resident rights and ability to apply this knowledge to protect and treat residents and staff
