Telecommunications Director is responsible for the strategic planning and design of an organization's telecommunications systems. Develops policies and procedures for installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Director plans and manages complex installation or repair projects. Assesses current and future telecommunications needs and researches and plans improvements to meet those requirements. Additionally, Telecommunications Director trains and develops staff. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Telecommunications Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Telecommunications Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     We are seeking a Data Center Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will design and configure data communication systems as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Installation and maintenance of communication systems
    • Adjust voice and video configurations to minimize communication disruptions
    • Work with various cable that include but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, power limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, Category 5, Category 6, single and multi -mode fiber optic cables.
    • Pulling, placement, termination, testing, and labeling
    • Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions
    • Order and maintain inventory stock supplies
    • Full Data Center build out
    • Rack install / Rack and Stack

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or other related fields
    • Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
