Telecommunications Director is responsible for the strategic planning and design of an organization's telecommunications systems. Develops policies and procedures for installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Director plans and manages complex installation or repair projects. Assesses current and future telecommunications needs and researches and plans improvements to meet those requirements. Additionally, Telecommunications Director trains and develops staff. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Telecommunications Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Telecommunications Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Description:
    We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join the Waukegan, IL School District for the 2024-2025 academic year. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing crucial social-emotional support and advocacy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' social-emotional needs and develop intervention plans.
    • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address a range of issues such as mental health, behavior, and family dynamics.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community resources to develop and implement interventions that promote students' academic and social success.
    • Advocate for students' rights and access to resources within the school and community.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, progress, and interventions.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
    • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Social Worker endorsement.
    • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or related setting preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
