    Location:               Hybrid: Tehachapi, CA. 

    Location Status:   Work will be performed onsite at our office or remotely by telecommuting up to 1 day per week. Employee will utilize personal phone or internet services to perform telecommuting without reimbursement. Occasional travel to and work from other Race offices or other off-site locations will be required.

    Summary: 

    The Marketing Coordinator is a pivotal team member responsible for assisting in the execution of comprehensive marketing strategies for Race Communications. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure cohesive brand representation across diverse channels. Responsibilities include campaign coordination, content creation, event planning, market research, and performance analysis. A successful Marketing Coordinator thrives in a dynamic environment, possessing strong communication, analytical, and multitasking abilities while contributing to the growth and success of the brand through innovative marketing endeavors.

    This individual should be able to communicate and work effectively with external service representatives and internal team members who possess a wide variety of backgrounds, personalities, and communication skills. This individual should be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment while maintaining a productive professional demeanor. This individual must be capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with other Race team members across teams and levels of our organization.

     

    Qualifications and Experience:  


    • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
    • Minimum of 18 years of age
    • A valid California driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory 
    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
    • Minimum of one year of experience in marketing basics, familiarity with marketing principles and practices preferred but not required
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
    • Ability to travel as needed up to 15%
    • Previous experience in event planning, market research, or graphic design may be beneficial but not always required

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  


    Internal Processes and Systems Management:

    • Organizes and updates processes in the internal Wiki and systems
    • Maintains and organizes the storage of digital marketing collateral in company share drives
    • Manages and maintains incoming requests and tasks efficiently using Jira and Asana, ensuring accurate tracking, prioritization, and timely resolution

     

    Marketing Campaign Support:

    • Works with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns
    • Coordinates, plans, and executes mailing of monthly campaigns
    • Assists in the execution of marketing events, including attending and traveling as needed

     

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborates with internal teams, including sales, product development, warehouse and customer service, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives
    • Provides support and assistance to other departments as needed to achieve shared goals and objectives


    Administrative Support:

    • Creates purchase requests for the department, tracks them, and ensures compliance with accounting standards
    • Manages inventory of marketing materials, collateral, and promotional items
    • Acts as a liaison between marketing and other departments, vendors, and partners
    • Performs daily administrative tasks to ensure the coordination and functionality of the marketing department’s activities, such as submission, tracking, and reporting of purchase requests, preparing decks, and content writing
    • Supports in the preparation and creation of visually engaging slide decks for various purposes, ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and alignment with branding guidelines

     

    Other duties as necessary may include but are not limited to:

    • Successfully complete assigned training and examinations, as well as participate in ongoing performance and development reviews, and goal setting
    • Be available to participate in internal or external meetings, special functions, and professional development opportunities
    • Cross-train and share knowledge with other team members
    • Support routine tasks
    • Maintain a professional appearance, hygiene, and demeanor

    All new employees will participate in the mandatory 'Speedway to Success' (Speedway) orientation at one our offices located in either Tehachapi, Yuba City, Chico, or South San Francisco, CA. The duration of the Speedway program spans from 1-3 weeks, depending on the position. During Speedway the schedule will vary; you may not work full 8 hour days and there may be off days. Applicants further than 50 miles from these training locations will be provided with necessary travel accommodations as part of the onboarding process. Applicants 50 miles or less from these locations will be considered regular commute. For those working remotely, virtual attendance will depend on position requirements. Further details will be provided to you during the interview process, and before your start date.
