    Position overview:

    • Performs basic, moderately complex, and complex troubleshooting activities for various devices including satellite systems (VSAT), DSL, Cellular, Cable and other wireless and wireline connectivity solutions as well as related network equipment and connected media devices
    • Provide outstanding customer experience through positive customer interactions for commercial, residential, and government clients and end users
    • Discusses satellite dish placement and installation requirements with the customer as well as instructs customer in use of equipment.
    • Digs hole for the pole to support the satellite dish base, mixes, pours and finishes concrete in the hole for the pole mount.
    • Assembles and attaches electronic and structural components of the satellite dish.
    • Climbs ladder to install satellite dish when the area is inaccessible from the ground like the roof, siding.
    • Works in limited space areas like attic, basement or crawl spaces.
    • Runs wiring like coaxial cable, phone line inside the interior wall or the exterior of the building.
    • Tests installed the system for conformance to specifications and perform upgrades as needed to conform to standards.
    • Replaces or repairs defective parts and equipment.
    • Places outbound calls to the customers to pre-call, confirm appointments and verify specifications of the work order, communicates with call center employees over the phone to modify, reschedule, close, cancel work orders for installation.
    • Installation and connection of phone lines or Ethernet connections on all installations.

    Requirements

    • Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
    • Follow installation specifications and maintain high-quality standards
    • Comfortable working one-on-one with customers to discuss installation needs and willing to upsell products and services
    • Install interior/exterior coaxial cable and ground wire and dig trenches
    • Replace/repair defective parts and equipment ensuring systems meet code specifications
    • Basic hand tool experience
    • Able to meet physical requirements: climb & carry ladders, access small spaces, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, squat, kneel, bend, crawl and stand for long periods of time
    • Available to work weekends, holidays, evenings and overtime, as needed
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company’s minimum safety standard

    Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen, to include a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
