Telecommunications Engineering Technician assists telecommunication engineers in the design and analysis of telecommunication networks. Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Engineering Technician ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Additionally, Telecommunications Engineering Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Telecommunications Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Engineering Technician with 2 to 7 years of experience in the preparation of construction plans and drawings for roadway and highway related projects. Candidate shall be well versed in MicroStation/Geopak and/or AutoCad Civil Design Software. A background in civil, site, utility and mechanical design is a plus. Associates degree preferred.Bridge/Structures Engineering Technician; Columbus Office
Engineering Technician with 2 to 7 years of experience in the preparation of construction plans and drawings for structures and bridge related projects. Candidate shall be well versed in MicroStation/Geopak and/or AutoCad Civil Design Software. A background in structural detailing is a plus. Associates degree preferred.
