Telecommunications Engineering Technician assists telecommunication engineers in the design and analysis of telecommunication networks. Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Engineering Technician ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Additionally, Telecommunications Engineering Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Telecommunications Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Description:
The Process Engineering Technicians are going to be working on the engineering team supporting the engineers to implement, develop and improve manufacturing lines. The specific processes they will be working on will be extrusion, lamination and blow molding. They will be required to work on the floor where they will need to go to a machine and study efficiencies, help with installation of new equipment and adjustments, develop processes and help to maintain the equipment.
This is a 7pm-7am shift.
Other day to day responsibilities:
-Support the Engineers in the measurement and analysis of processes, developing tooling
-Root cause analysis
-Implement SOPs
-Perform start or restart of equipment
-Provide technical support to operations
-Work closely with the Manager and Engineering team to review reduction for cycle and scrap through controlled planning as it relates to process and other technical issues
-Make calibration changes
-Support troubleshooting initiatives
-Engineering reporting
-Conduct quality checks to ensure products are meeting company standards
-Collaborate with all of engineering and other teams to optimize production flow
