Telecommunications Engineering Technician assists telecommunication engineers in the design and analysis of telecommunication networks. Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Engineering Technician ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Additionally, Telecommunications Engineering Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Telecommunications Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. FSS is currently hiring low voltage technicians to travel regionally doing network installations at fortune 100 retailers. Our technicians travel about 80% of the time. Deployments could be 1-2 weeks on smaller jobs, 3-5 weeks on larger installs. FSS looks for professional team members with positive attitudes and strong work ethics. To ensure success working for FSS you must have great communication and a willingness to always learn more. Current roles available range from helper technician willing to train in the field, technician and lead technician.

Who we're looking for- Someone who has 3 years in the field of telecommunications
- Someone who has telecom installation experience, certifications are a plus
