Telecommunications Manager manages an organization's telecommunication systems to ensure optimal network performance. Implements and enforces policies and procedures for installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Manager plans and manages complex installation or repair projects. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Telecommunications Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Telecommunications Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Summary:

     

    The Accounting Administrator acts as a liaison between internal departments, customers, and vendors providing support to the Finance department by carrying out assigned accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks while ensuring all duties are met with the highest degree of accuracy.

    Qualifications and Experience:

     

    • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
    • Minimum of 18 years of age
    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent in a related field of study is preferred
    • One to three years’ proven experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
    • Familiarity with electronic filing systems such as OneDrive or Google Drive
    • Experience with QuickBooks, FinancialForce, Concur and procure to pay systems a plus
    • Per Diem/Travel expense processing a plus
    • 10-key by touch
    • Familiarity with 2 and 3-way match
    • Procure to Pay (P2P), Salesforce and FinancialForce experience required

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Process high volume of receivables 
    • Assists with monthly customer billing 
    • Works with billing department to process collections, refunds, chargebacks
    • Resolves billing discrepancies
    • Assists with month-end reconciliation of accounts receivable 
    • Processes credit applications
    • Processes high volume of payables within a workflow system
    • Maintains electronic filing systems
    • Processes various company tax forms 
    • Performs data entry and spreadsheet management
    • Assists with weekly check runs
    • Assists with vendor maintenance 
    • Manages permit tracking spreadsheet
    • Assists with accounts payable reconciliations
    • Reviews vendor statements
    • Processes vendor onboarding
    • Assists with quarterly and year end reporting
    • Collaborates on special projects as necessary 

    Other duties as necessary may include but are not limited to:

     

    • Process documentation and workflow will be required.  We need all departments to follow Finance’s guidelines on completing the purchasing workflow.  You will provide assistance with the documentation of the process and workflow worksheets as the AP Manager continues to create them
    • Successfully complete assigned training and examinations
    • Participates in ongoing performance and development reviews
    • Participates in internal or external meetings, special functions, and professional development opportunities
    • Cross-trains and share knowledge with other team members
    • Supports routine tasks
    • Assists General Accounting Manager with process documentation
    • Assists Department Managers, VP, and CFO with scheduling, forms management, and system update notifications

    All new employees will participate in the mandatory 'Speedway to Success' (Speedway) orientation at one our offices located in either Tehachapi, CA, Yuba City, CA, or South San Francisco, CA. The duration of the Speedway program spans from 1-3 weeks, depending on the position. During Speedway the schedule will vary: 8-hour days are planned, but shorter days may occur depending on the group’s pace. Applicants further than 50 miles from these training locations will be provided with necessary travel accommodations as part of the onboarding process. Applicants 50 miles or less from these locations will be considered regular commute. For those working remotely, virtual attendance will depend on position requirements.
