AMcomm Telecommunications Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cable TV, Internet, and Phone Installer Tech to join our team. Responsibilities

• Perform new connections, reconnections, add outlets, install and remove converters, and perform upgrades and downgrades of service.
• Utilize small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to ensure service operates within prescribed parameters.
• Read signal levels through use of field strength meter, solve installation problems, install connectors on different types of drop cable, and maintain proper clearances.
• Climb poles, ladders or other structures as needed, carrying loads up to 75lbs.
• Work within limited confines, such as crawl spaces.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived problems.
• Drive company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment to be prepared to perform required duties.
• Complete paperwork accurately, and report and record work order status updates.

Customer Service Duties

• Respectfully greet customers and conduct a home walk thru.
• Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
• Professionally interact with customers, including when responding to escalations, damages, and repeated customer concerns.
• Provide customer education regarding product and service usage.
• Clean work area upon completion of a job.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to carry a 28ft ladder from truck to pole
• Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house or attics
• Ability to climb over 28 feet.
