Telecommunications Supervisor jobs in Parkersburg, WV
Telecommunications Supervisor oversees a team of specialists to support the maintenance of an organization's telecommunications system. Coordinates the installation and repairs of telecommunication equipment. Being a Telecommunications Supervisor manages and delegates work orders and assignments. Helps solve and troubleshoot complex issues to mitigate the impact on the performance of the network. Additionally, Telecommunications Supervisor identifies and implements process improvements and leads the implementation of new technologies. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Qualified candidates will have documented experience in computer networks, computer hardware and operating systems, LAN/WAN design and operation, Routers, servers and gateways. The ability to work with fiber optic cable and LAN wiring is expected.
The qualified candidate will possess good interpersonal skills, pc skills, Office 365, Cyber Security practices, help desk, the ability to work with others, and work with minimal direction. Completion of a 2 year IT training program or 2 years of related experience is required.
The company offers a competitive compensation and benefit package. The successful candidate must live near Morgantown WV
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
