Troubleshoots telecommunication issues and performs or coordinates repairs. Additionally, Telecommunications Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Responsible for the installation and maintenance of telecommunications assets supporting IKAV’s oil and gas operations. This individual must be proficient in theory, design, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of microwave and terrestrial communications systems. In addition, the telecommunications technician will also troubleshoot and maintain low voltage DC solar and battery power systems supporting the communications infrastructure.
