JOB DESCRIPTION: TELLER

Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions. Balances each day's transactions and verify cash totals. Performs specific assigned side-jobs and assists other tellers with a variety of duties as required. Ensures that customers are promptly and professionally served.

JOB DUTIES:

• Follow established procedures in accordance with bank policies.
• Accountable in representing the bank to our customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to comprehend basic accounting principles.
• Enter transactions into computer system and issue customer receipts.
• Protect customer information and other sensitive data by maintaining confidentiality while adhering to the bank policy.
• End each day by accurately balancing assigned cash drawer.
• Available for work some Saturdays.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to interact with clients using banking technology.
• Friendly and personable with the ability to establish credibility and rapport and look for ways to benefit the customer’s banking relationship.
• Understanding how to present features, and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
• Professional, thorough and organized; able to follow standard operating policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
