Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bank Teller. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, performing various financial transactions, and growing your skillset to include account opening/closings procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong interest in the banking industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries
- Perform cash handling duties, including counting and verifying cash deposits
- Utilize basic math skills to accurately balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with banking regulations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and targets
- Stay updated on bank products, services, and promotions to effectively cross-sell to customers

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with basic math concepts and cash management
- Proficient in 10-key typing for accurate data entry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide assistance
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle debits/credits effectively
- Experience in financial sales or cross-selling products is desirable

Location: 145 Broad Street in Claremont, NH, with the flexibility to cover up to 30 minutes away, as needed. A clean/valid drivers license and vehicle is required for this position.
