Documents and analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Additionally, Test Engineer ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Summary
As a Test Engineer, you'll collaborate with Design Engineers to define test strategies, fixtures, and requirements. You will contribute to test execution, documentation, and analysis of test results. You will decide which tests to best apply manually and which ones to automate.
Primary Responsibilities
Developing test systems and components.
Performing research for problem-solving that requires extensive diagnosis. Modelling this process to less-experienced personnel.
Creating and maintaining necessary documentation.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
General Tasks
Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
Experience employing investigative test methods and conducting design validations.
Experience testing to MIL and/or ISO standards; familiarity with environmental test methods.
Experience with test automation tools and their hardware and software interfaces.
Experience processing test data, compiling results against established limits, performing statistical analyses, and drawing conclusions.
A track record of careful and complete documentation of test methods, test data, and conclusions/next steps.
Proficient in writing code in multiple coding languages VB6, VB/NET, python and related languages.
Experience with 3D modeling and 3D Printing.
