Test Engineer interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Being a Test Engineer assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Documents and analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Additionally, Test Engineer ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Requires a bachelor's degree of Engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Test Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Summary: Seeking a Test Engineer with experience in structural strength and/or durability to develop test plans, conduct tests, and analyze results.
Requirements:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
1 to 5 years of test engineering experience in structural strength and/or durability
Responsibilities:
Apply engineering principles and various analysis tools to develop test plans/procedures for design parts/components
Determine design feasibility and ensure parts/components meet design acceptance criteria, performance level targets, and any applicable regulatory/internal standards
Create data settings, test specifications/standards, prepare/setup test equipment, conduct moderately complex tests
Document/summarize test results/conclusions, verifying testing accuracy/thoroughness
Analyze/interpret test results, predict performance/failure and provide required product/design data
Identify issues/develop countermeasures based on the analysis of testing results
Communicate test results clearly in written reports/formal presentations
Propose design changes and recommend countermeasures based on analysis of testing results.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $41.00 per hour
