Responsibilities:
Applicants must have the ability to understand and assist in budget preparations and have a knowledge of the Argos Reporting system for generating budget activity reports and screening them for accuracy. Must have knowledge of Banner Software or the ability to learn how to use it effectively for producing credit hour production reports, class rosters, view budget details, enter payroll for students and staff, capacity overrides, and closed-class lists. Prepare travel arrangements for Chair, Faculty, and Staff, as well as telecommunications, scheduling appointments for the Chair, and maintain files for all office needs including inventory oversight and self-audits of inventory as requested by the procurement office. Ordering supplies and processing invoices for payment for the Chair, Airport. Reconciling the procurement card, preparation of EPAFs for faculty and staff payroll, planning, organizing, implementing, and concluding all hospitality events including banquets, receptions, and monthly meetings as needed by the Chair. Assist the Chair, with grants and their requirements. Help the Chair with maintenance coordination of Gibson Gunn and liaison between the Airport and Facilities management as it relates to repairs and building needs, meet numerous deadlines for reports as scheduled. Submit work orders to Facilities Management to ensure building maintenance. Maintain the new simulator lab inside Gibson Gunn. Assist with promoting undergraduate and graduate programs along with corresponding with undergraduate students. Other responsibilities as needed by the Chair.
Qualifications:
- High School/GED required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- Excellent computer word processing skills and knowledge of Word and Excel software.
- Knowledge of scheduling and using Microsoft Outlook calendar, scanning, faxing, and general office skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple work requests simultaneously.

- Bachelors degree with secretarial experience in higher education.

Salary:
12 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and universitys resources.
