The Role:
The Product Industrialization Engineer will contribute as a member of the Transducer Product Industrialization Engineering Team supporting both the introduction of exciting, new, state-of-the-art Ultrasound transducer products and providing feedback to the product design team in the area of design for manufacturability/testability (DfM).
Product Industrialization Engineer is responsible for engineering tasks associated with manufacturing test development. regulatory compliance, design transfer, deployment qualification, and introduction of products and their associated manufacturing test processes to meet cost and quality goals.
You are responsible for
- Developing new cost effective test strategies and solutions through direct contribution and partnering with other team members
- Delivering manufacturing test solutions on time with quality
- Defining project requirements and developing appropriate validation and qualification plans
- Creating and deploying supporting infrastructure software
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain organization
- Maintaining and improving a collaborative cross-site and cross-functional team effort that leads to effective on time deployments of test solutions.
- Maintaining regulatory compliance
- Developing Requirements for new Test Systems
- Developing/Maintaining IQOQs
- Developing/Maintaining Factory Test Instructions
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- Min 5 years’ experience developing test and measurement systems using modular instrumentation or similar
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be a creative and collaborative team player.
- A proven track record in working with cross-functional development teams to ensure timely and effective deployment of test solutions is a must
- Statistical Techniques
- Structured problem solving
- Software development using high level languages. LabVIEW preferred
- Medical device or other regulated industries
- Experience with the design, use of and test of Mixed Signal systems DC – 50MHz
- SQL and/or Oracle database experience
- Experience with PXI related hardware/software
