Additionally, Test Engineering Manager typically reports to a unit/department head. The Test Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The Electrical and Software Test Engineer will support a team of Electrical Hardware and Embedded Software Engineers that provide Enterprise-Wide Product Engineering Solutions to the Vehicle Platform teams. The primary responsibility will be to provide onsite expertise in designing, commissioning, and supporting Hardware in Loop (HIL) simulators. Development methods include C programming language and Simulink Model Based Software Design.
