Acts as advisor to test engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations and acts as a liaison to other engineering functions. Being a Test Engineering Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Test Engineering Manager typically reports to a unit/department head. The Test Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Test Engineering Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Qualifications 8 years of professional experience or a combination of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus experience. 2 years of leadership experience Proven experience as a software engineer with a strong understanding of software development principles. Previous experience managing engineering teams. Proficiency in full stack technologies such as PHP, Node, MySQL and Angular Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
