Test Engineering Supervisor jobs in Birmingham, AL

As a Supervisor (also known as Department Manager, Shift Leader), you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff scheduling, and ensuring production schedules are met. You'll also assist with employee selection, training, and development, and address performance, safety, and health issues. Your role will involve coordinating with maintenance on equipment repairs, purchasing necessary supplies, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the CNC Machining Industry and five (5) years supervisory experience in associated manufacturing.
• Strong supervisory skills, including training, counseling, and disciplinary.
• Good math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Proficiency in GD&T, G-Code, M-Code, Machine Setups for Production Runs, and Manual Machining Skills.
• Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), CNC Lathe (2-4 axis), CNC Mill (5 axis VMC), and CNC Lathe (5 axis).
