Job Title: Test Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in test architecture, design, and implementation. As a Test Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust testing strategies, frameworks, and processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies tailored to the specific needs of our projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers to define testing requirements and priorities.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support in test planning, execution, and automation efforts.
• Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
• Establish and enforce best practices for test documentation, defect management, and reporting.
• Continuously assess and improve testing processes and practices to optimize quality and productivity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
• 15 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a test architect or similar role.
• Strong expertise in test architecture, including designing and implementing scalable test frameworks and strategies.
• Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation scripting.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Test Professional, etc.).
• Experience in performance testing, security testing, or other specialized testing areas.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
