Industrial Test Systems, Inc (ITS) is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Associate for the Rock Hill, SC manufacturing plant.
ITS is a leading manufacturer of instruments and chemistries designed to test water and coolant analytes. It develops innovative products, many covered by U.S. and worldwide patents, to industries such as municipal water treatment, food & beverage, craft brewing, trucking & automotive, fresh & marine aquaria, pool & spa, education, and medical diagnostics globally with offices in the US and UK.
Duties and Responsibilities:

· Meet or exceed Warehouse goals and objectives
· Contribute to an atmosphere where safety is a priority, with an emphasis on protecting company assets and preventing injuries
· Ensure proper distribution through proper frequencies and proper package and brand management, as well as FIFO management
· Ensure proper training of new hires and ongoing training of current employees.
· Foster and build positive employee morale.
· Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
· Receives and documents physical products from trucks following processes outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
· Operates equipment according to company safety standards to assist in moving products.
· Completes daily tasks as assigned by leadership or department supervisor.
· Ensures the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse.
· Follow shipping/ receiving work schedules and assignments to ensure effective and efficient operations.
· Make recommendations to the Production Manager on programs to improve warehouse operations.
· Assist in all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out promptly.
· Follow work orders and input data into ERP system iPads
· Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high-quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
· Assist in other production, manufacturing, and/or warehouse areas as needed by management
Requirements:
· MUST have 2 years of warehouse experience and an understanding of a logistics and transportation environment.
· MUST have experience dealing with equipment used in the warehouse.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule (includes some weekend responsibilities)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel is strongly preferred.
· Positive communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and personnel.
· Have an understanding of safety principles and standards
· MUST be able to read, write, and fill out GMP/ISO documentation
· Ability to drive a forklift and able to operate and maintain essential manufacturing equipment described above
· MUST wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed (i.e. hair nets, beard nets, lab coats, masks, gloves, etc.)
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
· MUST have a good, consistent work ethic and the ability to learn quickly, and make good decisions
· Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change
· Able to stand or sit for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., mobility to crouch, kneel, reach, bend, and do repetitive actions with hands and arms
