Test Engineering Supervisor supervises the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of testing procedures and strategies for products, systems, components, or modifications. Oversees the identification of functional problems and leads the analysis, and interpretation of test results. Being a Test Engineering Supervisor oversees the documentation, definition and maintenance of internal quality control standards and reliability programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Test Engineering Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Test Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. Basic Purpose of Position: Work with test engineering group on development of test programs and fixtures. Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve test methods and equipment and decrease manufacturing costs.
Primary or Major Responsibilities:
Assisting in the following functions:
· Development of test programs, fixtures and implementation of test methods for the Production Test Department to ensure proper functionality before the product is used.
· Development of In-circuit test, Flying Probe Test, Boundary Scan Test and/or Functional Test.
· Supporting all areas as required.
· Continuous improvement and ensure test operational excellence of all test methods and equipment.
· All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
· Must be working to obtain degree from a university or technical school in engineering, precision machining, robotics, electronics/electrical systems, manufacturing, business or related discipline.
· Commitment to gain experience in manufacturing.
· Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
· Effective communication skills driven by attention to detail.
· Must be self-motivated and self-managed.
This position is paid hourly and offers part-time hours during the school year and full-time hours during the summer. Hours are flexible.
