Dietary supplement company is seeking a dynamic, reliable and motivated lab technician.

Duties:

• Maintains lab work area organized.
• Test raw materials as well as finished product.
• Performs and becomes proficient in established testing and operation procedures.
• Conduct and evaluate shelf life studies at prescribed intervals and report results to management.
• Coordinates routine lab and equipment maintenance with vendors.
• Packages and mails samples to plants, vendors, and samples for testing.
• Perform product attribute testing including viscosity, pH, chemical compositions.
• Perform lab equipment calibrations and/or verifications as needed.
• Lab equipment maintenance and problem troubleshoot is required as needed.
• Develop and executes a critical lab instrument calibration management program.
• Organize and help maintain lab cleanliness.
• Coordinate verification, calibration routines and maintenance program for laboratory equipment and instruments in the lab.
• Support installation and setup of new instruments as needed.
• Collects and documents routine experiment data using spreadsheets for review and interpretation.

• Creates Certificates of Analysis.
• Maintains precise records.

Education/Experience:

• Must have a BA/BS in Chemistry, biochemistry, or Related Science
• Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
• Microbioloby
• Experience with FDA, GMP stadards

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• HPLC testing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Nutraceuticals / Pharmaceuticals: 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)
