Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment. Additionally, Testing Technician typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Testing Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Key job responsibilities
    • Apply non-destructive testing techniques to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all data center critical systems including: power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, and structural
    • Act as an ambassador for safety for the team and site
    • Remain cognizant of and act in compliance with all security protocols
    • Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and management on a daily basis
    • Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
    • Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up
    • Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs
    • Provide support for LSE, weather events, and planned, and unplanned outages

The team maintains critical equipment in support of providing best in class availability for our data center customers. The Non-Destructive Testing Engineer will work closely with both internal customers, external vendors as well as coordinate regional resources to facilitate smooth work execution. You will oversee the non-destructive testing of all data center critical systems including power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, structural, and all other equipment that supports the critical operation.

    To be successful in this role you should be highly autonomous, detail oriented, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and have significant experience in supporting critical infrastructure. You will design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role will showcase your independent contribution as well as offer the opportunity to work within multi-disciplinary teams.
