Records data from testing in standard formats and provides results to product and engineering teams. Being a Testing Technician assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing. Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment. Additionally, Testing Technician typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Testing Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Category Retail Position Summary The Automotive Technician position requires your experience and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using your leadership and mentoring skills in driving a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction. Pay Range: $16.80 - $25.20 Responsibilities Change oil, transmission fluid and filters Install batteries and checks electrical systems Tire maintenance Install parts Road test vehicles Minimum Qualifications Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles Must have a minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment. A.S.E certification in at least one of A1-A8 is preferred. Will accept equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
