May recommend changes in testing methods or equipment changes. Additionally, Testing Technician, Sr. requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment. A Bethel, CT-based construction materials testing company is seeking a Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper to become a long-term member of our dynamic team. The ideal Candidate will provide support & report directly to Ownership of the organization. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, manage invoicing, posting journal entries and collections. The Canditate is also responsible for many aspects of the monthly closing process including balance sheet account reconciliations, preparation of monthly and ad-hoc journal entries and commissions. This position requires excellent judgment, meticulous attention to details, strong problem-solving skills and good knowledge of Excel functions/formulas.
