May recommend changes in testing methods or equipment changes. Additionally, Testing Technician, Sr. requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Testing Technician, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Martin Engineering, PLLC is looking for an experienced technician for our Huntington, WV Material Testing Lab. This position is responsible for field observation, aggregate, density, concrete and asphalt testing on federally and privately funded projects. Federally funded projects consist of roadway and bridge projects for the State of West Virginia transportation department and other local entities. ACI and State of WV Certifications in at least one discipline required.
