Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Drug Test Collector to join our team. As a Drug Test Collector, you will be responsible for collecting and processing specimens for drug testing at businesses. We are also looking for those with exceptional customer service skills and that can work independently that are wanting to expand into this new and exciting field of being a mobile drug test collector. Ideal candidates would be those in real estate, college students, freelance workers. Must have reliable transportation and ability to quickly respond to needed tests during designated shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Collect breath, urine, saliva, or hair specimens from individuals for drug testing purposes
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure proper specimen collection and handling
- Verify patient identification and maintain confidentiality of test results
- Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis by labeling and packaging them appropriately
- Maintain accurate records of collected specimens and complete necessary documentation
- Adhere to strict quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service to individuals undergoing drug testing
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Drug Test Collector preferred
- Previous experience in specimen collection or a related field is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and record keeping
- Understanding of aseptic technique and adherence to safety guidelines
