Being a Testing Technician, Sr. assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing. May recommend changes in testing methods or equipment changes. Additionally, Testing Technician, Sr. requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Testing Technician, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Sr Plant Engineer
The Sr. Plant Engineer provides tactical and strategic direction, technical support to troubleshoot and solve problems impacting plant performance, reliability, environmental compliance, and safety. They will also provide project management skills to execute capex projects for continuous improvement, maintenance, optimization, and reliability improving overall plant performance. While ensuring the safe, efficient, productive and environmentally sound manufacture of active ingredients or intermediates.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WHO YOU ARE- Makes tactical decisions, sets long-term direction, and KPIs to achieve area performance goals related to safety, quality, waste minimization, capacity, reliability, and operability;
- Investigates plant performance issues related to safety, quality, environmental impact, capacity, reliability, and operability leading to proposals and implementation of sound technical solutions;
- Serve as process expert and plant representative for design, construction, and implementation of investment projects- interfacing with technical professionals from other disciplines and companies (e.g. PCT, project engineering, environmental and utility services operations, and process development);
- Creates, maintains, and develops standards for plant documentation (SOPs, equipment/process descriptions, material and energy balances, P&IDs, spare parts, equipment lists, histories, manuals, flow sheet documentation, drawings, and operating data collection and retrieval);
- Responsible for troubleshooting assets and process problems, supporting compliance with safety and environmental requirements and engineering standards regarding equipment and material technology;
- Provides leadership to multi-disciplinary optimization and reliability teams across sites;
- Assists with development of continuous improvement goals, resource prioritization, and communication of financial or other performance metrics;
- Serves as a process expert for HAZOP and other Process Hazard Analyses techniques; supports timely resolution of identified process safety risks;
- Proposes designs and executes plant trials directed at enhancing plant performance;
- Holds responsibilities associated with maintaining the Process Management File; approves process changes and deviations from established operating limits;
- Supports adherence to procedures, guidelines, design standards, and technologies across the Site as a subject matter expert; leads or represents Site on corporate teams;
- Fosters experience exchange and promotes knowledge transfer with other Plant Engineers;
- Promotes continued development of self and area personnel through peer coaching and providing constructive feedback;
- Provides technical support necessary to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations;
- Helps plant adapt to change and drives continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelors of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical, Engineering discipline;
- Self-motivated Safety Oriented;
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders;
- Adapt priorities to changing needs Project management experience;
- Valid Driver's license and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:- BS and 7 years experience in manufacturing MS and 4 years experience in manufacturing.
