Testing Technician, Sr. jobs in San Antonio, TX

Overview

• This position performs on-site work in the assembly, maintenance, testing and inspection of manual and/or hydraulic valves utilized in Oil & Gas fracturing operations.
• Travels to remote client work-sites to perform service on equipment.
• Possesses strong technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems without any direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for frac stack lubrication that meets manufacturer's specifications before equipment is deployed into production environments.
• Repairs frac vales on client work sites.
• Service calls regarding frac stacks inspections, valve units on site for wear, defects and replace components as necessary.
• Rebuilds valves Catalogs replacement parts in/out of valves per API standards Creates damage sheets for rebills to customer Inventories valve parts.
• Performs all aspects of work in compliance with applicable HSE regulations and company policy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proactive attitude (seeks an opportunity to learn and ways to improve)
• Able to lift 50-100lbs and work long hours in extreme conditions
• Have a professional appearance
• Wear safety equipment all time on pad. 
• Must pass pre-employment drug tests and maintain required random drug tests.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be cleared to operate motor vehicles at all times.
• Must pass a background investigation.
