• Perform electrical and software tests on large HVAC equipment
• Assist in creating, documenting, and/or updating test procedures
• Document Test records
• Participate in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform inspection and testing on electrical components
• Ability to ready prints, manuals and schematic’s
• Ability to evaluate test data
• Work with clients to ensure quality and satisfaction of product
• Effectively interact with engineers and senior leadership
• Working knowledge of or the ability to learn the operations of Fan systems, pumps, compressors, VFD’s, PLC’s, and Electro-mechanical controls

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office -particularly Excel
• One year experience as an Electronics Test Technician or related, with strong capability in electrical test.
• Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits
• Ability to read schematics & identify function of circuit design
• Familiarity with modern test equipment
• Experience using common electronic test equipment
• Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and associated applications
• Must be able to successfully pass APP’s Basic Electrical Exam
