DESCRIPTION: Candidate must be an HF student/graduate, available to work when scheduled, on an as-needed basis, in the Library and/or Textbook Center; must assist in completing inventory, textbook distribution and collection, processing shipments, filing and shelf-reading; must be available for peak times such as before and/or after school at the beginning and end of the school year, summer school book distribution, book-and-fee bays in August (including Saturday), and late registration (mid-August): ability to interact with students and parents, administrators, teachers, and staff members in a pleasant and professional manner; ability to lift full boxes of textbooks, bend and reach; and have attention to detail in all tasks assigned.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIES: • Restocking and shelving books in correct location • Reading shelves for proper placement of materials • Scanning items during inventories • Packaging and moving full boxes of books for shipment up to 65 lbs., as needed • Processing incoming shipments of books • Set-up of items for bulk distribution • Fine-filing, as needed (alpha and numerical)
